What is the Cost of Horse Breeding?
I do not know what inspired me, but as a young teenager, I was determined to have a foal. I had a mare and all I had to do was find a stallion and my wish would come true. The sad fact is that no one around me knew any better. Horse breeding costs, time, money, health, there is always a cost involved.
I found two companies in our field, the Stallions had and both were willing to cover for a free trial. It would give me nothing or so I thought. I took my mare with a stallion in his pasture for a few weeks in the hope that nature would remain to support themselves. My mare has never been pregnant and lost a horse for that time.
